The number of vaccinated in Macedonia reaches 1 million
At the vaccination points in Macedonia, so far a total of 561912 citizens have been vaccinated. The first dose was received yesterday by 8914 citizens, while a total of 16020 citizens were vaccinated, informs Zhurnal.
In our country so far the number of vaccinated has exceeded 1 million. Thus, until yesterday, a total of 1,016,700 citizens have been vaccinated. The second dose was received by 454788 citizens.
The Minister of Health, Venko Filipce, has also announced about this. He, happy for the increase of interest for vaccination, announces the uninterrupted work of the medical teams that vaccinate the citizens.
“Vaccination at vaccination points continues without obstacles and with increased interest, while the new open points disperse the increased work of medical teams in polyclinics and reduce the queue for citizens. Vaccine is enough from all manufacturers, while on a weekly basis with new orders the same are replenished. All vaccines are safe and only by vaccinating the population will we protect collective health. This is the only way to start living without worries and restrictions again. “I call on you to take an hour of your time and get vaccinated at the nearest point in your country,” Filipce wrote.
Unlike the latest numbers, 66% of people over 70 have been vaccinated. 64% of the population over 60 years of age and 50% of the population over 50 years of age were further vaccinated
