Macedonia bought 8.5 tonnes of cannabis from South Africa

The company “Highlands Investments”, which produces high quality cannabis, has announced that it has signed an agreement for the export of 8.5 tons of dried flowers from medical cannabis THC and CBD, as part of the order that will be transported to Macedonia, informs Zhurnal .

Mark Korbet, director of the company, says that 8.5 tons of dried cannabis flowers will be sent to Macedonia and for this they have borrowed a plane.

“After proving our ability to meet shipment requirements with our April shipment, we successfully secured a large residue from our harvest in 2021, which includes just over 2000 kg of THC and 6,500 kg of leaves and ornaments from CBD . “For the size of the order, which is enough to fill almost four 40-meter containers, a plane was needed to transport it to Macedonia”, says Mark Korbet.

The European cannabis market is projected to reach $ 3.8 billion by 2025, according to the European Cannabis Report.
