This morning, the legal sector of “Levica” filed a criminal report at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje against the Speaker of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of abuse of official position and authority, Zhurnal reports.
In the report, Xhaferi is accused that on July 22 of this year, without returning it for finalization and further necessary arrangement, and after a previous agreement and coordination with the Government, he illegally released it in a parliamentary procedure with “flag” European ”, i.e. in a fast and complete legislative procedure, draft law amending the Law on Citizenship – in summary procedure, usurping the inviolable parliamentary subjective right of speech and de facto disabling the right to propose changes by deputies in parliament.
