A young Florida kid killed his mother, 21, after he found a gun in their apartment, shooting her while she was talking on the phone, Florida police said. transmits CNBC.
The mother’s colleague she was talking to on the phone heard a loud bang and then heard the mother fall to the ground. Not knowing what had happened, she immediately called an ambulance and sent it to her address.
Police said a rehearsed pistol belonging to her father was found in the home of Shamaya Lin, the child’s mother, and that she was shot in the head.
“Officers and paramedics did their best to help Ms. Lynn, but she was found with a fatal wound to the head,” police said.
Lynn’s child was not injured in the crash. An investigation is under way into whether the gun owner will face criminal charges.
